Bloody Eye Punch

Bloody Eye Punch
(what little ghouls and zombies love to drink)

Several packages of raspberry and strawberry gelatin desserts – each package makes four cups so you want to make enough to fill your punch bowl
One bottle of gingerale or orange soda
One pound of Concord grapes
(optional, thin rice noodles, soaked in warm water)
One whisk, a punch bowl, a cookie sheet and waxed paper

Prepare this at least several hours before you need it.
First, cover your cookie sheet with plastic wrap or wax paper.  Pinch the skins off the Concord grapes, place the insides on the cookie sheet and put them in the freezer.
Second, prepare the gelatin according to the package directions in one large bowl or several small bowls.  Be sure they can fit in your fridge.  Let them set.  It will take an hour or two.
After the gelatin is set, put it all in one bowl and whisk it to break it up.  It will be bouncy.   Add in a cup of gingerale or orange soda and whisk again.  It will start to get runny.  Add as much gingerale as you like without ruining the slimey factor to the gelatin.
Just before serving, add the grapes to the jello and mix it all up.  Add in the optional rice noodles to give it more of an ick factor.

Please enjoy my original recipe and drink your Bloody Eye punch to your health and that of your loved ones!

Stay tuned for the last of my ghoulish frightful hostessing day at Masquerade Festival!  No Baby Cthulhu's Allowed is champing at the bit to be let out of the portal..... God help us all!
